Yes, m talking about the latest Twilight eclipse fever. All you hear about these days is, JAACCCOOOBB or EEEDDWWAARRDDD. Some people have got really annoyed, and so we see a fanpage on facebook saying "Team Guy-who-hit-bella-with-his-van" so fans....calm down!! ;)

chocolate cupcakes with peppermint buttercream...

I tried these cupcakes yesterday. Man they were Y.U.M.M!! you guys should definitely try them. And let me know how they turn out! =)
Cupcakes:

1-1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup whole
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Peppermint Buttercream:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2-1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 teaspoon peppermint extract
2-3 drops green food coloring (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

3. In a separate mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until sugar is fully dissolved. Add eggs, one at a time, and stir until completely mixed.

4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, 1/2 cup at a time, stirring until all clumps of flour have been dissolved.

5. Add milk and vanilla, and stir until batter is smooth and velvety. Pour into greased or lined muffin tins and bake for 15-17 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from heat.

6. Let cool for 15 minutes in tins, then remove and let cool outside of tins for at least 1 hour.

7. For Peppermint Buttercream, cream butter for 45-60 seconds. Add powdered sugar, and beat by hand, or with an electric mixer until mixture comes together and makes peaks. Add cream, peppermint extract, and food coloring if desired, and beat for 45-60 more seconds. Refrigerate until ready to use.

9. Once cupcakes are fully cooled, add Peppermint Buttercream. Serve with coffee or milk.

*These are good to serve on St. Patrick's day, or on Christmas. For Christmas, double the recipe, and for second batch of buttercream, use red food coloring instead of green.

Oh yes people! The monsoon is here! Don't you just love the rain?? The smell...the greenery that shows too much. When all the kids in the neighborhood rush to the roof just to enjoy the rain...playing games eating warm food....and well...everything about the rain is just amazing! here are a few snap shots you may like...=)

can it get any better??

I mean literally. I had the most amazing day of my life!! Had burger for breakfast, learned how to make bread, and did i mention i made a perfect circle....:D after that when it rained like crazy, i went on the roof with my best friend, sang songs under the rain for 2 hours or so...took bath in amazingly warm water and massaged my sister's head which felt like heater after the cold winds and rain pouring on my head. Oh and then after that hot and extremely yummy samosas for for the evening. watching grey's anatomy and blogging were like cherry on top. Oh and did i mention my addiction to every single lame game?? oh yeah summer couldn't get better than this....B-)

missed me?? ;)

yeah i know i know....i disappeared, bla bla bla. well, you see, my best friend is in town after ages.She was planning to give us a surprise, as she told us she wasn't coming to visit this time,we even had a fight over it, until a few days ago her sister called us up and told us all about it. So we decided to give HER a surprise. So that when she reached home from the airport, she saw a room full of her favorite people and the walls decorated with balloons and hangings saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! (did i mention she was coming on her very birthday??) She was surprised like anything. It was an awesome day! My friend I made her a frame, which was supposed to have a butterfly on it oh and a collage inside, but as usual i had to mess up, so the pic wasn't there, and the butterfly too. But whatever, i guess the effort is what counts, and so it was all very successful..:D I would do my best to update you guys with the further activities, until then astala vista..;)

Ever heared of the eighth wonder???

no? just as i thought!! well for your information, the world's largest spoon. fork, knife, stove, and cup was made in Pakistan. It was named the eighth wonder of the world! Want to have a look at it? here goes...

That would be world's largest stove...it has about two hundred and sixty burners.

That would be the world's largest cup.....cute eh?

And finally...the largest tooth brush...huge enough to wash my clothes early in the morning too....:P

sleep's a bitch!

I mean seriously! i was just thinking about it yesterday. All those times when i did not want to sleep, and at times couldn't afford to sleep, i slept like i hadn't slept in days!! And when i really need to sleep,I'm up like a stupid owl on a watch or something! i mean i slept a day before my paper. The whole bloody day! And it was my CIE the next day! Can you believe that. And the other day, my best friend really really needed to talk to me. AND I SLEPT!! like while texting her, i slept.At times i when i wake up the next day and check my cell, i see texts that i have received, that i have replied to, and i don't remember.As in i don't remember writing any of those stuff! sometimes i think I've gone mad or something.
yeah..like i literally sleep like this man at times!! oh and recently i was staying at a cousins place...i slept THERE TOO!! though i couldn't stay like that for long as my cousin spilled a bottle full of water on my face..( it was cold!

so yeah...sleep really is a bitch. At least mine is!!

Ok so I'm in an awesome mood!! Don't ask why, i don't know myself. The first thing i did this morning is start singing songs loudly! LOL i know....dum, but man that was FUN! :D oh and then i open my blog and notice the reactions and the followers....man that boosted up my good mood even more. I for no reason at all, feel like jumping around like a looser. Oh and as u can see by the title, deffenitly in a mood to
party.Though i don't have a penny left, thats a different thing, but hey, you need people to party, not money.
SOOO..put on the hottest clothes you got, the loudest songs you got and PAAARRTTTAAAYY!!! ;)

I give up!!

Okay so i thought it would be fun and good past time blogging and stuff...but the truth is i give up! i mean lets face it...i duck at story making!! sure i can make up good stories...IN MY MIND...but conveying?? mhhmmm not my department. plus who is gonna read my shit anyway?? i mean there's J.K Rowling and Stephenie Meyer nd Meg Cabot and God knows who...people would obviously prefer reading their stories. mine are like dum. honestly i started this blogging business to be able to earn money...until i found out that there's something call ad sens which u need to apply for and it can even get rejected...which in my case did happen, one reason there are so many white blocks all over the website. And honestly...i DO need money okay. my pocket money is or was i rather say 500. until i got into such deep debts that i had to force my dad to raise it to 1000. Even in that. i cant do ANYTHING!i mean my wallet balance is what? 60 rupees? and i owe my friend around 700 and something rupees. M doomed i say. And on top of that I'm making plans with every other person i find. Anyway...since I have totally ruined my story and all I'm thinking of just taking out my bharas on the blog (most of you might not know what that mean...)...but who cares...i don't even have any followers yet! Except one, who is basically a friend. I hope the name of the blog goes though...let me know if i should change it!

Episode #1: signing up for the summer camp

Hurrying through the street, pass the 10 year olds fighting over a ball, Luci walks towards the park next to her apartment. Feeling embarrassed of what she just did. As soon as she reached at Gate no 1 she spotted Tom Grey, her best friend, at their usual spot, under the third tree from the left.
“I’m in SO much trouble this time!! “
“As usual!! What did u do?? “
“Don’t ask!!! Added salt instead of sugar in the tea… as soon as I realized what I did I ran away before mum could scream!! “
“Ahan? No wonder you’re 10 min late….” Says Tom with sarcasm
“Not helping!! You’re supposed to say it’s okay….you’re going to be fine….it happens...bla bla…”
“It’s okay…you’re going to be fine...It happens bla bla…happy? “Repeated Tom, rolling his eyes, sitting on the grass, not even bothering to look at Luci.
“Uhh…whatever…so what are we doing today??”
“Dying your hair white! Fun eh?”
“TOM!! I mean seriously, I was thinking of checking out the list of summer camps that we got the other day from school. One of them offered guitar lessons!!! “
“Yeah I was thinking of that too…at least I wouldn’t have to listen to your crap about how much weight you gained.”
Luci rolled her eyes and took out the purple sheet, and started reading
‘SUMMER OF 2010, don’t waste your time lazing around, it’s time to learn some skills and have some fun. Sign up for one of the following summer camps. For age groups 5-10 year olds 11-15 year olds 16-19 year olds.’
Skipping 2 the second camp suggested, which she had circled, she read,
“For the ages 16-19 year olds: hiking, learning a skill (stitching, pottery, playing an instrument, etc), sports (including: badminton, tennis, squash, table tennis, cricket, football, swimming.) Public speaking (debates, etc)”
“I say we go for this one!!” went on Luci excitedly.
“Fine! But any idea how to register??” asked Tom knowing that Luci wouldn’t have a clue.
“Mmmm….should be here somewhere…” said Luci knowing she doesn’t have a clue. Tom snatched the paper and scanned through the smallest front at the end of the paper. He found the contact number and called. They found the contact number for the camp they were interested in.
“Come on, we’re going for registration now” said Tom, standing up.
“Uhh...no! First stop, The Forum. U need new sneakers, u think I’ll let you hike in those?? Plus I need a new gloss for the camp.” said Luci making a face at Tom’s sneakers.
Tom made a face at Luci, she said” what!! Don’t give me that look alright. Come on we’re getting late!!” and so Tom went along dragging his feet clearly showing his dislike for malls.
It took about 40 minutes to come back, which included 10 minutes taken to buy new sneakers, 20 min for Luci’s gloss, she ended up buying two (“the purple one makes me look hot but the pink has the bling factor!!”) and 10 min for Tom stopping Luci to rush into every other shop there.
“Now can we go for registration??” said Tom in an annoying tone.
“Ahan!” said Luci busy putting on the new gloss.
They reached the right place in 20 min. (could’ve reached in 15 min but they got into a fight and missed the gate.
It was a big building, as they went inside there were different courts on each side of the walkway. Tennis court, table tennis court, badminton court, etc. The walkway leads to the main office, where they got the form and filled it up. After submitting the form they headed back to the park. On their way Luci realized that she hadn’t told her mom about the camp. She knew Sarah Fernandez, her mother, was going to be very angry, but she pushed aside the thought and just thought about the camp she just signed up for.

Riinnnggg.....snooze......rriinnnggggggg .....snooze.....rriinnnngggg......shes up!!! Luci woke up with a start as usual 10 min late. got dressed up in a hurry and went to the park. She was meeting Tom there. Their vacations had ended and today was the first day to plan the adventurous summer of 2010...
